Dr Ali Baghdadi joined AI DIONIC as Board Advisor and CEO coach in January 2025. His focus is on helping the CEO and the Board to design the most effective Go-To-Market strategy.

Dr Ali founded Aptec as a student and grew it to a $2 Billion dollar company by 2022. Following Aptec’s acquisition by Ingram Micro, a $50 Billion global IT company, Dr Ali took on the role as CEO for the META region & SVP at Ingram Micro Inc.

Ali is an inventor with several patents pending in AI and Cyber Security. He cofounded a number of software companies in the field of Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security and Telecoms. These include Cybral Inc, Softec, GetBee, Aptelecom and others.

Ali studied Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering, then obtained an MSc and PhD in computer science from Imperial College – London. He believes in continuous learning and has attended courses at Stanford University Business School. 

As well as his IT background, he is an advocate for renewable energy and encouraging entrepreneurship. He is recognized as a thought leader and international speaker on Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Technology.
